In light of the recent fires and its devastation to our beautiful community, MJCS’s world- class clergy, educators and staff have been on call 24/7 providing support and much needed resources to the many who have been displaced.  While MJCS was extremely lucky that our buildings suffered little structural damage, the costs involved to restore them to safety standards are significant.  In addition, there is the immediate and expected ongoing need to provide spiritual and emotional support and programming to our membership and community. All of this has added additional stress to the Synagogue’s budget. In order to help underwrite these new needs, MJCS has created a Wildfire Response Fund.  Please consider being one of our “Shining Lights”.
