MJCS PRESCHOOL PROGRAM 2011

MJCS Early Childhood Center continues to provide a safe, nurturing environment that encourages the use of the child’s imagination.

We welcome back our wonderful teachers, Teacher Jamie, Teacher Linda and Teacher Yael who just spent 6 months in Israel. Our amazing teachers inspire, respect, challenge, engage, listen, observe, encourage and nurture our children.

Pots and Pans Percussion: Our classrooms are always full of music. It is important for us to provide an environment rich with music and movement to allow for the exploration with the instruments and to engage in plenty of diverse and stimulating musical activities. We are proud to add pot and pan percussion to our schoolyard. Our pint-sized percussionists use rhythm sticks and wooden spoons to bring out a lively beat on our new cookware drums.

“Art Without Boundaries” continues in our Art Studio where the children are working with all types of materials and mediums. For the preschool child, the freedom to use materials, without restriction, always leads to greater levels of creativity and understanding.
